It consists on raising community awareness about the need for an effective change in mentality in order to change the human environment.
Agriculture and Livestock
Focus on enhancing food security, increasing income for smallholder farmers, and promoting sustainable, resilient livelihoods. Aim to improve upon traditional farming practices through training, and access to resources.
Water, Sanitation and Hygiene (WASH)
Constitute a comprehensive, multi-sectoral approach designed to reduce waterborne diseases, promote public health, and enhance dignity in both development and humanitarian contexts.
Community-Based Childcare
Initiatives designed to provide holistic early childhood development (ECD) services within the community setting. With emphasy on community ownership and use local resources to support vulnerable children and families.
Savings and Credit
Community-managed microfinance models designed to provide financial services to populations excluded from formal banking. Rely on the pooled savings of members to provide small, low-interest loans within the group.
Demonstration Center
A specialized site designed to showcase, test, and validate innovative practices, technologies, or models before they are scaled up to a larger population. These centers act as "living laboratories" where stakeholders can see practical evidence of what works.
